One of the common short-term side effects of undergoing cancer treatment is hair loss, which may affect the confidence of children with cancer.
Here at CCF, we provide programmes and services to support children in their childhood cancer journey from treatment to post-recovery. While we help children with cancer understand that it is OK to be BALD, we need YOUR support.
Make your BALD statements to be part of the community to tell children with cancer that it is OK to be BALD!

Hair for Hope turns 20 this year! Let's get the ball rolling and make a BALD statement at the 20th edition of Children's Cancer Foundation's flagship fundraiser – the only head-shaving campaign in Singapore that serves to raise funds and awareness of childhood cancer.
Through the symbolic gesture of shaving bald, we aim to:
- Create awareness of childhood cancer in Singapore
- Show children with cancer and their families that they are not alone in their fight against cancer
- Tell children with cancer that it is OK to be bald
- Raise funds and help children with cancer and their families
- Build a community of support for children with cancer and their families
Every shaven head at Hair for Hope represents the understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to. By volunteering to shave, shavees become CCF ambassadors in helping to raise awareness of childhood cancer among their family and friends. It also provides an opportunity to garner support from the public in the form of donations.

With the kind support of Lush Hair Creation's hair stylists, CCF volunteers had their heads shaven, attracting $2,000 in donation towards CCF.
