Participants must be at least 7 years old (in 2023) to register. It is the personal responsibility of participants under the age of 18 (in 2023) to obtain parental consent and/or school permission before registering as a HfH shavee. Individuals who have successfully registered for the campaign are deemed by CCF to have obtained parental consent and/or school permission for their shave.
Yes! After a three-year hiatus, Hair for Hope main event will return in physical format at VivoCity on 29 and 30 July 2023. For those who are unable to make it for our main event, you may wish to join us at our public satellite events instead.
The default HfH shave is number one. This shave should leave you with an approximate hair length of 1-2mm.
All HfH shavees will need to complete the number one shave. Do remember that one of the objectives of Hair for Hope is to tell children with cancer that it is OK to be bald. Every shaven head at Hair for Hope represents the understanding by an individual of the ordeals that a child with cancer is subjected to. CCF beneficiaries do not have a choice when their hair falls after chemotherapy, and we would like our shavees to stand in solidarity with them with their selfless act of headshaving.
As one of the objectives of Hair for Hope is to tell children with cancer that it is OK to be bald, CCF does not collect shaven hair to make wigs.
Yes, you may select your preferred T-shirt sizing when registering online. Please refer to our T-shirt sizing chart to ensure that you select the right T-shirt size. Once you have completed your online registration, no further changes to the sizes are allowed. Campaign T-shirts and their sizes are available on a first-come-first-served basis, while stocks last.
Please note that we are unable to accommodate any form of T-shirt exchanges, regardless of reason.

Your shavee e-certificate will be sent to you via email after you have attended the event and completed the shave. To save a soft copy of your e-certificate, you will need to
- Right click on the e-certificate
- Select ‘Print’.
- At Printer/ Destination field, select ‘Print as PDF’
- Click ‘Save’ / ‘Print’, then save your PDF
A minimum of five shavees is required to form a group. There is no maximum limit to how many shavees there are in a group. If you have difficulty meeting the minimum number, we encourage you to register as an individual.
Yes. You may continue to register your participation under the satellite event. However, please make your own arrangements to complete the shave by 30 July 2023.
