Up to 90 percent of cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy lose their hair – most noticeably scalp hair loss, and it falls out in clumps, ie. not uniformly and not all at once. Between being bald or wearing a wig, most choose the latter, but good wigs tend to be expensive, and bad wigs are plain uncomfortable. By going bald, I hope that we can be helped to lessen the stigma of being hairless.
